Church Membership

Article III--Membership fo the Chinook Alliance Curch Constitution and Bylaws
(approved 1/4/05) stats that qualifications for membership consist of:

1. Confessions of faith in Jesus Christ and evidence of regeneration.

2. Belief in God the Faher, Son, and Holy spirit, in the verbal inspiration of the Holy Scriptures as orginally given; in the vicarious atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the eternal salvaation of all who believe in Him and eternal punishment of all who reject Him.

3. Acceptance of the doctrines of the Lord Jesus Christ as Saavior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King.

4.Full sympathy with the principles and objectives of The Christian and Missionary Alliance nd coopertion by systematic suppor of its work.

5. Such other qualifications for membership as may be stated in the bylaws.

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied:"'Love the Lord you God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your ind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And he second is like it:'Love your meighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
